Healthy and Easy Recipes

Oatmeal: Steel Cut or Irish

INGREDIENTS

  • Organic steel cut or Irish oats, for 4-6 servings

  • Almond milk

  • 2 T pure maple syrup

  • 2 T organic agave (optional)

  • 1 cup organic blueberries

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

  • 1/2 t ground cinnamon

  • 1 t vanilla

  • sliced banana

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare oatmeal according to package, but use 1/2 water, 1/2 almond milk and heat on low. Watch very carefully- it can boil over very quickly.

  2. When 3/4 cooked, add other ingredients.

  3. Top with banana

SERVINGS: 4-6
